Spanish Regular Verbs Future Tense


The regular verbs are conjugated for the future tense (el futuro) in Spanish by adding the future infinitive endings. The future infinitive forms of the verbs are: -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -éis, -án.

Important

  • All future tense conjugations have accent marks, except for the nosotros form.
  • The future tense in Spanish formed by directly conjugating the verb, whereas in English modal verbs such as ‘shall’ or ‘will’ are needed.

Examples:
Nosotros comeremos pescado en la boda.
We will eat fish in the wedding.

Laura comprará un vestido para la fiesta.
Laura will buy a dress for the party.

Marcos irá al cine con Sonia.
Marcos will go to the movies with Sonia.
