Present tense verbs are formed by dropping the -ar, -er, or -ir from the root of the regular verbs.

• Trabajar…..Trabaj + Subject Conjugation = Trabajo / Trabajas / Trabaja…
• Comer……..Com + Subject Conjugation = Como / Comes / Come…

Regular Verbs in Present Tense

Important:
As shown in the table above, in Spanish, the subject pronouns are usually omitted, the verb endings give information about the subject.
